I crave for Portugese Egg Tart for quite a while after coming back from Macau. This is the only bakery in Penang that I could find Portugese Egg Tart but sorry to say the taste of their Egg Tart is still not up to my expectation - Probably it’s not their fault. Maybe it is because I only bought 2 and they put it in a plastic bag and it did’t taste as good as it was freshly baked.
The most famous Portugese Egg Tart is from Macau. I still could remember there was a craze about Portugese Egg Tart in late 1990s in Singapore & Taiwan just like the craze about Hello Kitty. Everyone crave for it and waited in long queue to get Portugese Egg Tart!

Last year, I was in Pismo Beach, California, during Labor Day weekend, and it proved a fun getaway — just a few hours drive north of Los Angeles yet psychologically far enough to feel like a vacation. It being a holiday, much of the beach was rife with sandcastles and suntans, and the line for [...]
